Our people

Action for Conservation has a growing team and we have offices in London, Bristol, Manchester and at Penpont where our flagship intergenerational nature restoration project is located.

Our team ranges from field biologists, marine and mammal experts, and fundraising legends to designers, videographers and youth work specialists. If you want to bring your enthusiasm and joy for the natural world to young people across the UK, we want to hear from you!

Our youth trustees

Since Action for Conservation’s inception, we have sought to embed young people in our organisational decision-making and in shaping our strategy and approaches as a charity. This is particularly important for us as a youth charity and given that nationally, less than 3% of charity trustees are under 30 years old.

Our Youth Trustees, who are typically aged 16-18, form 60% of our Board and bring crucial experience as former beneficiaries of our work. To date, over 10 young people have volunteered to become a Trustee for two years at a time.
